Our technologically driven world is impacting on children at a younger and younger age. As leaders in early care and education, Kindercare believes that technology can be used responsibly and creatively, to support children's learning in a fun way, without the damaging effects of misuse.
Cherry.bytes is computer and technology-based learning that was researched, designed and introduced by Kindercare as a unique learning method that complements the New Zealand curriculum framework, Te Whaariki. The weekly program provides children with access to a wide range of technologies while learning and having fun. Our cherry.bytes program facilitates use of language, social skills and development and the promotion of cognitive skills in children from 3 ½ - 5 years, through the use of specialised software programs. Children work in pairs and are supervised at all times by specialist cherry.bytes Teachers.
