In response to the need for an ever-increasing number of qualified early childhood teachers, Kindercare Learning Centres established Kindercare Early Childhood Teachers College 25 years ago. The name was later changed to New Zealand Tertiary College and it was one of the first professional early childhood teacher education training providers.
