Earn As You Learn
Our Earn As You Learn program has been run by Kindercare in conjunction with New Zealand Tertiary College for many years to offer our staff a unique opportunity to build on their valuable practical experience and gain on-the-job training, while obtaining a formal early childhood qualification. Opportunities to take up study through the Earn As You Learn program are based on demand for qualified staff in our centres.
Kindercare provides on-the-job training, coaching and professional support. Financial assistance is available which covers course tuition fees. The financial support is interest free provided the student Teacher remains in Kindercare's employ after graduating and the debt is therefore "forgiven" in hours worked by the teacher.
