Coopers Road:
We have checked this evening and can happily report that the water supply to the centre has been reconnected. Coopers Road will open as normal tomorrow, Thursday, 16th June.
Kindercare is aware that the closure has impacted on families and thank you for your patience as we resolved the issue.

Wednesday, 15 June, 3.30pm

Coopers Road:
With the information we have available at this time, our centre in Coopers Road is still on stand-by regarding whether we are able to open Thursday (16.6.11). This is based purely on the fact that we still have no water supply to the centre which means we are not able to flush toilets; wash children's hands and the laundry and kitchen are not operational. We want to assure parents that the building is structurally sound - the fact that we are not able to open is purely because of the water problem. At this time, the entire street has no water supply and we have been given no indication of when this is likely to be rectified.

Kindercare apologises sincerely for the inconvenience. We will be checking the water again this evening and will update the website at this time.

Thank you for your patience.

Tuesday, 14 June Update: 6pm

Linwood Avenue:
Parents are advised, following our latest information that our centre in Linwood will open tomorrow, as normal.
Parent/caregivers are advised that, due to the city-wide boil water notice in place, all parents will be required to bring clean, bottled water for their child's daily drinking water. Our staff are asked to bring clean, bottled drinking water daily for themselves, as well. This arrangement will continue until such time as the main city water is deemed safe to drink.

Coopers Road:
Parents are advised, following our latest information, that Coopers Road will be closed tomorrow due to the interrupted water supply. Parents will be notified when this is rectified.
