Kindercare Family Services Co-ordinator
Kindercare is seeking a Family Services Co-ordinator to work part-time (3 days) within our Auckland Centres.
Reporting to the Family Services Advisor, the key mission of this role is to bring together a range of early childhood services, (education, health and family support services)to ensure that priority learners attending our centres, are set up for success.
You will have a desire to improve the overall well-being of children and their families, as well as achieve excellence in customer service with teachers, families and the community agencies.
Your role will include, working alongside team(s) of teachers to ensure quality observations and the needs of the child are clearly identified. Putting in a support plan with strategies and resources, will be a vital part of the role.
The position requires you to be able to role model various strategies and ideas to teachers and families and to have a point of difference in working with children and their families.
We see this position being filled by an experienced teacher, with current registration and a strong knowledge of working with Priority Learners. Ideally this person will have a background in working with Priority Learners.
You will have excellent people skills and be a confident communicator (both written and verbal). This position requires you to be well organised, with a focus on positive learning outcomes for children. The ability to work under a high trust model is imperative.
This unique role will be based in Wellington but you will need to be available for planned national travel on occasion. This part-time role will begin as soon as we find the right person for the role. The role will begin as a part-time role with the view to increase hours.
