Kindercare Palmerston North
My team and I are committed to partnering with you the way you would with the rest of your whānau. We celebrate your child’s diversity and unique gifts, and nurture tamariki with aroha in every interaction.
You are very welcome to visit our early childhood centre at any time, where we’ll make your child our priority. Bring your child along so we can introduce them to Kindercare and learn about your aspirations for their care. We look forward to creating a place that feels like home for your child and working in partnership with you to achieve great outcomes for your whānau.

Why Choose Our Centre
Simply put, it’s because we offer outstanding early childhood care and learning. But here are a few other great reasons:
- We work in partnership with whānau because we believe families who actively contribute to their child’s learning goals will deeply enrich their preschool years.
- We have a separate space for pēpi aged 14 months and below, with a consistent caregiving approach.
- Our operational hours allow us to provide flexible options to suit your family’s needs, with full-time and part-time care.
- Kai is included. We provide high-quality, plant-based, whole-food meals for tamariki—all cooked on-site and prepared with love.
- We offer a generous leave policy because we understand the unpredictability of children’s absences.
About Our Care
At Kindercare Palmerston North, we provide age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to stimulate their senses, nurture their curiosity, and prepare them for primary school. Our strong partnership with parents ensure that each child has the opportunity to develop their full potential, and we welcome and encourage parent-participation in our centre community.
Our centre is committed to providing responsive and respectful care for each child. Our infants’ room has its own sleep space and resources, with passionate Kaiako who are specialised in caring for the youngest of our children. We ensure their rhythms and rituals are followed while in our care, as communicated by whānau. We invite all our parents to share their family news, give us feedback, and collaborate with us on their child’s individual learning plan and goals. Together, we can create a successful pathway to kura for your child.
Since 2017, Kindercare Palmerston North has become a trusted name in the local community; just ask anyone about us! We prioritise play-based learning with spacious outdoor play zones that flow naturally into our indoor spaces. We’re sure your child will love exploring, creating, and learning with us. We also know that communication is key, which is why we keep you in the loop of your child’s learning successes and important information. Our convenient central location near the CBD, great surrounding primary schools, and, most importantly, our heart-centered approach to care and learning, make us the childcare centre of choice for many whānau in this city.
We understand that families have different childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This enables us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning, and fees to support their growth.
We look forward to supporting you and your child on their incredible journey in these early years with us.
Life At Our Centre
The team is so welcoming and friendly! They love my children like their own, with fantastic communication from the centre. Their amazing Cook onsite keeps my children eating well while helping them understand the benefits of nutritious food, even at home! I would recommend this centre to anyone needing great care for their children.
I could not be happier with making the change to Kindercare. Kaiako are proactive, nurturing, caring, compassionate, and fun. Our daughter’s confidence and social skills have improved tenfold since attending Kindercare Palmerston North. The whole team is incredible. The centre is clean, warm and modern too!
I chose Kindercare for my babies because of how well the infant room was designed for care and learning, sleeping space, and the quality of meals they provided. The sense of calm and feeling of home when you walk in is fantastic. This eased a lot of my nerves as a first-time mum, returning to work.
