  • Nau Mai,

At Kindercare Palmerston North, we feel privileged to be entrusted with the care and learning of your child.

Our Kaiako are dedicated to partnering with whānau on the journey of growing their child’s unique potential. With respectful care and loving interactions at the forefront of what we do, we are proud to nurture a love of lifelong learning for our tamariki.

If you and your whānau are looking for care for your child in their early years, we would love to meet you.

Feel free to give us a call, send us an email or pop in into the centre; it would be our honour to show you and your family around, and get to know more about your aspirations.

  • About Our Care

At Kindercare Palmerston North, we provide age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to stimulate their senses, nurture their curiosity, and prepare them for primary school. Our strong partnership with parents ensure that each child has the opportunity to develop their full potential, and we welcome and encourage parent-participation in our centre community.

Our centre is committed to providing responsive and respectful care for each child. Our infants’ room has its own sleep space and resources, with passionate Kaiako who are specialised in caring for the youngest of our children. We ensure their rhythms and rituals are followed while in our care, as communicated by whānau. We invite all our parents to share their family news, give us feedback, and collaborate with us on their child’s individual learning plan and goals. Together, we can create a successful pathway to kura for your child.

Since 2017, Kindercare Palmerston North has been a proud part of the local community! We prioritise play-based learning with spacious outdoor play zones that flow naturally into our indoor spaces. We’re sure your child will love exploring, creating, and learning with us. We also know that communication is key, which is why we keep you in the loop of your child’s learning successes and important information. Our convenient central location near the CBD, great surrounding primary schools, and, most importantly, our heart-centered approach to care and learning, make us the childcare centre of choice for many whānau in this city.

We understand that families have different childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This enables us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning, and fees to support their growth.

We look forward to supporting you and your child on their incredible journey in these early years with us.
