We would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Kindercare Upper Hutt for the incredible care, support, and dedication they have shown to both of our children since 2019. Our recent experience has been wonderful. We've seen our son grow in confidence through his daily activities, and we're amazed by the engaging and nurturing learning environment. It has been so rewarding to watch him come home excited, recognising letters, and even trying to write them on the board. Seeing his enthusiasm for learning grow has been truly heartwarming. This is our second experience with Kindercare, as our elder child also attended the centre. Both of our children have been fortunate to be part of such a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment. Kindercare has genuinely felt like a second home for our family, giving us complete peace of mind as parents. Every educator has shown genuine care, patience, and encouragement, creating a place where children feel safe, happy, and valued. It's clear how much passion and effort the team puts into helping each child learn and grow. Thank you to everyone at Kindercare Upper Hutt for everything you have done for our family over the years. We are truly grateful and highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a warm, caring, and inspiring early learning environment.

I have had 3 children attend Kindercare Upper Hutt with 2 currently still attending. I have been thoroughly impressed and appreciative for all staff who have been more than willing to support them and their needs. They have been so kind, caring and welcoming and we certainly feel part of the Kindercare Whanau. The experiences and opportunities that my children get to be involved with are amazing and we are forever grateful for all they have done for us. We love Kindercare Upper Hutt ❤️

Many fond memories from our time with Kindercare Upper Hutt! Both of our children (now aged 5 and 10) attended from approx 6 months old through to turning 5 years of age. We loved seeing some of the same long-serving staff supporting both children over the years. The centre was always well organised, welcoming and kept clean. The centre's structured learning environment helped develop our children's confidence and set them up for a smooth transition to primary school. As an immigrant family with no extended family nearby, KindercAre has truly been a home away from home for us. All three of our children have attended since 2019, and we have been incredibly happy with the care and learning they have received. The teaching team has always taken great care of our children’s health and allergy needs while building genuine, meaningful relationships with them. Even now, our children still talk fondly about their KindercAre teachers. We are so grateful for the support, care, and sense of belonging KindercAre has given our family. ❤️

I have been very happy with our experience at Kindercare Upper Hutt Centre. The kaiako are caring, friendly, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing and development of the children. My child feels safe, supported, and excited to attend each day. The centre provides a welcoming environment with a variety of engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and confidence. Both of my children have been through Kindercare Upper Hutt from when they were 6 months old until they left for school. We have loved our time with them. The teachers take time to get to know each individual child and make unique learning plans for them to help them develop and grow. The food is amazing, and my children have developed a love of healthy food thanks to their kai at Kindercare. Whole heartedly recommend Kindercare Upper Hutt ❤️

My son was around 16months when he started with Kindercare. He’s done a full term of school now and is loving school but asks every morning when is daycare day. We loved the community we’ve formed there, with every room he was in he adored all his kaiako. Kindercare also prepared our son for school, we didn’t have to worry about drop offs or how his day went as he had the language and confidence to approach his kaiako. It was bitter sweet seeing him graduate from Kindercare.

We’ve sent both of our daughters to Kindercare Upper Hutt, and our experience with the team has been excellent. As a full‑time working couple, choosing a childcare provider can feel daunting, but we’ve never once worried about our daughters’ safety or happiness while they’ve been at Kindercare. We’re incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and kindness the team shows every day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kindercare Upper Hutt to other families.

He has learned and grown so much — not just academically, but also in confidence, kindness, and creativity. The teachers are incredibly patient, supportive, and genuinely care about each child’s progress. They always made sure he felt encouraged and valued, and we could see how much effort they put into creating a positive, nurturing environment every single day. We have been more than impressed with the care and support Kindacare Upper Hutt has provided to all 3 of our children and family. Every day at drop off our kids have a smile on their faces and are excited about spending the day with their Kaiako and friends. We leave knowing our kids are in the best of hands and have absolute trust that they are getting the best experiences and are well looked after. We knew from the first visit, close to 7 years ago now, that we wanted our children to go to this centre, and have had nothing but a positive experience. Upper Hutt Kindercare provided a nurturing, kind, and supportive environment for our two girls for the last 5 years. We always felt well informed and comfortable our girls were in the most capable hands to support their development. Thanks kindercare UH for being the best carers for our girls for such a big part of their lives.

We have just started our third child at Kindercare Learning Centres - Upper Hutt, and cannot more highly recommend the centre as a nurturing, loving and all round excellent Early Childhood Education centre. The whole team quickly became a valued and essential part of our wider village - and the positive impact the wonderful Kaiako have had on our little one's early years has been nothing short of incredible. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found an ECE Centre and Kaiako who have not only loved and nurtured our kids over the last 7 years, but have also celebrated them for all their uniqueness and character. The genuine passion, care and love the team wrap around their Tamariki is such a gift, and it’s hard to find the words to fully express how much their work means to us, and how grateful we are for their warmth, skill and expertise. The team at Kindercare Learning Centres - Upper Hutt play such a critical role in helping hold together the fabric that is life for so many families in our community. We could not more highly recommend them!

We are more to a satisfied with the daycare. Our both children, the older son nearly 4 years and the little girl about a year old are attending the daycare daily. We love seeing laugh on our children faces when we go to pick them up. All the care givers are amazing. Their food is amazing. Clean and tidy place which is great for our children growth. My older son is learning many good things in daycare that we get surprised with. Overall, we got the best place for our kids.

Two of my kids go to Kindercare. We love it. Very experienced and great teachers. They all are very supportive. Kids enjoy as well. We are glad that we found them.

My daughter (3.5 yrs old) absolutely loves Kindercare. She is so settled and happy there. The staff are supportive and caring and really go the extra mile for the children and parents. My daughter is thriving and learning so much. I highly recommend Kindercare Upper Hutt.

This centre is amazing ⭐From multiple rooms to cater to different age groups, to vegetarian meals made on site, dress up days, and celebrations for birthdays and room graduations. The staff are amazing and really make you feel like a big family 🥰 They put a lot of thought into the structure of each day to ensure the kids have a great balance of fun, laughter, learning and growth 🙌

My daughter currently attends this centre and her 12yr old brother was a former student here also for 3.5yrs. Upper Hutt Kindercare staff are absolutely amazing! My daughter’s teachers Bee and Marcela are the absolute best! They take excellent care of my daughter and always engage both her Dad and I. They also go the extra mile for example had it not been for the persistence of her teachers we wouldn’t know that she needed glasses which is a temporary measure (12months) to correct her vision. Left untreated would most likely result in permanent eye impairment. So a big thank you to her awesome teachers! It’s great to see some familiar faces among the teachers. They’re all so wonderful! Karina is at reception and still amazing as ever. So helpful, thorough and always engages parents where she can with her friendly and professional mannerism. Julia is in charge here and is very welcoming, friendly and professional. I could literally talk to her all day. She’s a great conversationalist and very engaging. Thinking back to my sons time here she always has been. Everything is so well organised and in order which is excellent. The facilities are of a high standard and very clean. Decor is bright and welcoming. As Maori parents I must say they exceed my expectations by a mile and do amazing work. They are very inclusive of all cultures and have somehow implemented a lot of the Maori cultural traditions into the centre. I think it’s great but The Ministry of Education need to tone it down on the implementation of Maori culture. They expect our ECE teachers who are working tirelessly with our youngest and future members of society to waste precious learning time on Maori culture. They’re already doing more than enough. Personally I feel our primary focus should be education. Strengthening our children’s numeracy and literacy. Learning through play and preparing our children for School. Upper Hutt Kindercare is an excellent centre with amazing staff who provide outstanding services with the utmost professionalism and care. Highly recommend!
