Kindercare Karori

Both of our kids started here when they were one and Kindercare Karori became their second home. We don't have any family in NZ but Jen and the team made sure we had all the support we needed. All the staff, not only the teachers, care so much for the kids and they know all the kids by name. They have delicious nourishing meals, a well established system for all the routines and that set really good foundations for our kids. We blinked and they are confident, independent, happy kids and a lot is because Kindercare Karori. Definetely reccommend to trust them with your little ones.

Tough putting your little one in anywhere but the staff here are just gorgeous and made it so easy. Always putting the families first and are so accommodating to make it as comfortable an experience as possible. Our 1 year old is so happy here and it’s just so reassuring knowing she’s in such good hands during the day.

Our daughter went to Kindercare for 5 years and still she loves to talk about what she did in there. She had lots of fun and learned many things which was really helpful when she started her school journey.

Our son started at Kindercare in Karori when he was just 1 year old and has now finished his journey there as he heads off to school at 5. Looking back, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the team created such a safe, warm, and supportive environment where he felt happy, confident, and excited to learn. The teachers genuinely care about the children and build such strong relationships with both the kids and the parents, which made a huge difference to us. We loved seeing how much he grew over the years, not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. The centre always felt welcoming, well-organised, and full of positive energy. Even the food was fantastic, with healthy meals and snacks that he genuinely enjoyed. Kindercare became such an important part of our family’s life over those early years, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and support they gave our son. Sending him off to school feels bittersweet, but we know Kindercare helped give him the best possible start. Thank you to the whole team for everything - you’ve been exceptional. Lyon and I will miss you all!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Kindercare Karori and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely attentive. They always listen and take the time to communicate with us, which gives us so much peace of mind. Our baby started at just 5 months old, and the team helped him settle in so well. Now at 11 months, he is absolutely thriving, happy, confident, and developing beautifully. The wide range of toys, learning resources, and the outdoor playground have really helped him reach different milestones. The kai provided is always healthy, nutritious, and delicious, and our baby loves munching on the meals each day. We have no regrets at all about enrolling our baby here. Kindercare Karori is very trustworthy. Our child is safe, secure, and always learning. We are so grateful for the care and support the team provides every day.

The best place anyone could choose for their child. The warmth, care, and support our daughter received from every single person here were truly beyond words. We are deeply grateful for the values you taught and the nurturing environment you provided for the children. The staff and teachers are very professional and friendly. They have a lot of activities for children’s learning & education development AND their communication is phenomenal. We get updates of our child’s day without having to ask. They use Kebudel so it’s been fantastic. Also the centre itself is beautiful, from the rooms to the play area to the outside car park. Very safe, well fenced & protected. They also provide meals 3x a day, so no need to worry about packing lunch. Their menu is also awesome. We’ve been with Busy Bees before and Holy Family and while they’ve been really good, Kindercare Karori is by miles the best out of the 3. Top tier, so glad we enrolled our toddler here.

Leaving your baby anywhere outside of home and whānau is a daunting experience, but Kindercare Karori have made it so much easier. The kaiako are brilliant, patient and caring as are the amazing staff who greet, feed and comfort our daughter. Our girl has flourished since joining a year ago, she comes home with new words, skills and smiles. Importantly, she loves going to kindy, we chant on the way in the gate in the morning and she kisses me and runs away to play on arrival. There is no better comfort then to know your child is so well cared for - thanks team.

Our daughter was with KinderCare Karori for 4.5 years. The care she experienced was second to none - she felt loved, safe and encouraged every day. She has made friends that she has taken into school years and her learning and development has put her ahead for where she needs to be in year one of school.

Very good choice for daycare, they really do take care of our tamariki and focus in learning and nurturing.

We started at Kindercare Karori after moving down to Wellington from P North. Our little boy joined the Tui Room and has enjoyed it, making lots of little friends and learning new skills. The Kaiako are so lovely and engaging with the children, planning activities that keeps them busy and learning. The food that is provided is yummy and healthy (veggie) and he seems to eat most of it which is great. Our little man will be staying till he moves on to school.

Our Little one absolutely loves Kindercare, having started in the Kiwi room and now off to The Tui room. The teachers and staff are amazing and this definately shows in the excitement our little one has when being dropped off :-)

I have been apart of the Kindercare Karori whānau for the past 5 years. Both of my kids started when they were 6 months old. I found it difficult going back to work and leaving my babies, however, the amazing team at Karori made me feel at ease! They treated us like family and my kids would be thrilled pulling into the carpark knowing they were going to see all their teachers and friends. The team at Karori had open communication, provided the most amazing activities and had a beautiful outdoor space for the children to explore. I could not recommend them enough!

Starting off a young mum I was so worried about handing over my baby especially after being in and out of hospital the first half of his life, they made the whole transition amazing and would call an update of my son all the time . 8 years down the track time to leave i found it so hard saying good bye to a group I considered like family to me . The care and love they show the children is amazing and how welcoming they are to you . I could not recommend kindercare Karori enough . Thank you so much for an amazing 8 years of helping me raise my babies

I'm an ECE teacher who has done occasional relieving at kindercare. My son also goes to kindercare. I have taught at most of the daycares in wellington. Kindercare IS BY FAR one of the BEST daycares in wellington. The kids have loads of outside time, great nutritious meals and all of the staff are so wonderful and kind.

I send both of my two children here and I highly recommend this childcare facility. My eldest has been going here for four years and they have done a wonderful job with him. They always make sure the kids are well feed with health food and are engaged and happy. Great job!
