Care Is Curriculum
Our Kaiako understand the importance of respectful, purposeful care moments. These opportunities for connection create the foundation of trust, respect and love that your child needs to explore and discover.
You Can Do It!
We’re affiliated with ‘You Can Do It!’ (YCDI), an education programme to help Kaiako to develop children’s positive attitudes, self-talk and behaviours. The five key social-emotional learning skills are represented by playful puppets – Connie Confidence, Pete Persistence, Gabby Get Along, Oscar Organisation and Ricky Resilience.

Inspired by Dr Emmi Pikler, our Head, Heart and Hands approach highlights mindful caregiving and teaching. Our Kaiako are empowered to develop personal, affectionate relationships with tamariki.
