  • About Our Care
  • Nau Mai,

At Kindercare Kilbirnie, we see each child as a unique treasure, bringing their own special abilities to our centre. We value the importance of connection, or hononga, and strive to make you and your whānau feel that you truly belong in our community. We cherish the wellbeing and whakapapa your child brings, and we encourage children to share their interests, skills, and values with whānau, their peers, and kaiako.

We’re privileged to have such a diverse team of kaiako, who all bring something special to the care and education we provide as a centre. We believe in delivering the best outcomes for your child by providing outstanding care and supporting our team through ongoing professional development, so we stay up to date with current early childhood practice. We understand how important it is for your child to feel comfortable and at home, which is why we focus on building positive relationships with you and your child. By working together, keeping the conversation going, and listening to your feedback, we believe we can help your child reach their full potential.

Come and visit us if you’re looking for exceptional childcare in the Kilbirnie community. We look forward to supporting you and your child throughout their incredible journey in these early years with us.

    Arohanui,
    The team at Kindercare Kilbirnie

  • About Our Care

Childcare at our centre is designed to meet whānau aspirations and the unique needs of each child. Our childcare program offers age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring a fulfilling day for each child. What sets us apart is the strong bond between tamariki and Kaiako in various settings, including rooms, shared outdoor spaces, and centre-wide events. This fosters active participation from tamariki in their own care and education.

We cultivate an environment that nurtures children’s well-being, communication skills, exploration, and their ability to contribute, while fostering a strong sense of belonging. Our aim is to develop essential skills, self-awareness, and a genuine love for learning. We strongly believe in empowering tamariki to become confident, curious, and capable people.

We understand that every family has unique childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This allows us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning, and fees, to support their growth.

Since 2007, we have been an integral part of the community, offering a dynamic and engaging learning program that encourages innovation, discovery, and curiosity. Conveniently located for families in Rongotai, Melrose, Newtown, Kilbirnie, and Lyall Bay, we invite you to join us and discover the Kindercare difference at our Kilbirnie daycare centre.
