Nau Mai,
At Kindercare Fairfield, we believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where both children and parents feel a true sense of belonging. At this Fairfield daycare centre, our experienced and qualified Kaiako are committed to keeping your child safe, loved and learning, while maintaining a supportive partnership with you based on whanaungatanga. We believe a strong partnership enables us to embrace what’s important to your whānau through the care and education we provide. Because of this, we welcome regular contributions to your child’s learning journey, to create a meaningful connection between home life and centre life, and to foster a sense of belonging for them.
My team and I are dedicated to providing children and their families with the best possible care and support, built on manaakitanga (respect and kindness), and trusting relationships. At our daycare centre, from the moment you walk through our doors, you will feel embraced by a community that cares, ensuring your child’s wellbeing is always at the heart of what we do.
At Kindercare Fairfield, we’re more than just a childcare centre; we’re a place where families can feel confident, supported, and part of something special.
Arohanui,
Tiffany Burley

About Our Care
At this Fairfield childcare centre, we’re big on meeting whānau aspirations and the needs of each child, with age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers throughout their day.
Our team believes that every child should have the opportunity to grow and develop to reach their full potential, regardless of their personal circumstance, culture, or where they might be in their development stage. Respect, or whakaute, underpins everything that we do at our centre, to encourage and support all tamariki in our care.
We have 4 separate spacious rooms for babies, toddlers, younger preschoolers and those who are preparing to go to primary school. Kaiako who care for our infants intentionally implement respectful care practices through our Head, Heart and Hands program. This turns everyday routined care moments into opportunities for authentic connection with your pēpi. Our toddler room offers a relaxed atmosphere where your child is encouraged to be curious, to explore, and grow their emerging self-help skills.
Furthermore, our Pathways to Kura program is a proven success in setting up tamariki with all the tools they need in their kete to successfully start kura. This includes a dedicated room for 9am–3pm enrolments, where preschoolers not only experience rich learning opportunities, but are also given a nourishing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, prepared daily at the centre.
Since 2015, we have remained committed to work in partnership with whānau and our wider community within Fairfield, to have an inclusive and culturally diverse centre that encourages and develops children’s empathy, wonder, love, trust and creativity. We understand that families have different childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This enables us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning and fees, to support their growth.
Our team strongly believes that by prioritising the needs of each child and their whānau, we can create a sense of belonging and help families feel safe and loved, knowing that this will in turn support their ako, or learning, and given them a sense of belonging to Kindercare Fairfield.
We are conveniently located for families in Fairfield, Chedworth, Fairview Downs, Enderley, and Chartwell; and we can’t wait to show you all this in action! We look forward to welcoming you to Kindercare Fairfield.
