Kindercare Auckland CBD

Our daughter attended Kindercare on Customs Street, Auckland for about a year, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The teachers are warm, caring, and very attentive. Special thanks to Melissa and Jiaqi, who were always so kind and supportive when it was about the children. She remembers all her teachers very happily. Mel, you were especially helpful whenever I had questions — you patiently helped me with everything I asked, even when my queries were sometimes outside of school-related matters. That level of support meant a lot to me. During her time there, we saw our daughter grow in confidence and become more social and expressive. She genuinely enjoyed going to the centre and loved the activities and time spent with her teachers and friends. We really appreciate the care, patience, and dedication shown by the entire Kindercare Customs Street team. We are very grateful for the positive environment they created for our daughter. It will always remain a special part of our family’s journey.

I enrolled my baby at 6 month old into city Kindercare. As a first time mom, I was very apprehensive about leaving my baby with strangers to look after him. I had no other choice as I had to return to work 6 months postpartum and I don’t have family that lives near me that can look after him while I’m at work. But I learned very quickly that the teachers at Kindercare were like the family I needed to look after my son while I worked. They were very accommodating by allowing me to pop in during lunch when I needed to breastfeed him or when I miss him very much, I walk over during lunch time and sneak in a cuddle. All the teachers were amazing with babies and small children. They took their time to learn about what my baby likes or doesn’t like. They made sure he is taken care of. Most importantly, I felt like I can trust them with my baby. Amazing reception/admin staff and Manager at this centre. Everyone is friendly! If I worked or lived in the city, I’d enroll my baby with Kindercare in a heartbeat.

Our 16-month experience at Kindercare was extremely positive and satisfying. As a newly migrated student family, we were supported as if we were part of a real family. They provided wonderful emotional support for my son, who initially struggled with separation anxiety after leaving a large extended family in our home country, and helped him settle in with great care and understanding. From an educational perspective, they were excellent. Without putting any pressure on him, they provided strong academic learning while also teaching important values such as discipline and empathy. In terms of safety, they were always well aligned with parents and very reassuring. In the end, I can honestly say they took even better care of my son than I did myself. Now that he has started school, I can clearly see the difference — he adapted to the new environment much more easily than other children and was fully prepared. I would like to sincerely thank Mel and Sonia for their ongoing support and kindness, which truly made this experience possible for us. Thank you all his dear teachers. You all are the best🫶🏻

Amazing compared to 2 others we had tried for our child in the past. The place is very clean, organised, well designed and equipped. Most importantly, all the teachers are great, even relief ones that show up occasionally in our child's room. It is big with many classes, so the kids are split into more age groups, but share the same outside play area, which is very nice and well equipped. We enquired with a suburban Kindercare branch 2 years ago (before relocating to the city) they were a lot more expensive than other chains and had no places, but also seemed very tidy and clean. However, in terms of city prices, this Kindercare gave us a better deal than others in the city that we visited to view and had places

Our daughter has recently completed her time at Kindercare Learning Centres - Auckland CBD and we could not be more grateful for the wonderful experience she had there. She attended the centre from early August until 19 December, and from our very first centre tour, we knew this was the right place. Thanks to Admin Melantha’s patient, detailed introduction and thoughtful tour. Seeing so many happy, smiling children gave us great confidence that our daughter would feel safe and joyful here. Over the past five months there, our daughter has been exceptionally well cared for and has grown so much. We are especially thankful to her main teacher in the Tui Room, Tiffany, who has been incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. Tiffany speaks both English and Chinese, which has been such a comfort and a huge benefit for our Chinese-background family living overseas. Every day at pick-up, she took the time to share feedback about our daughter’s day, which we truly appreciated. We would also like to sincerely thank Jessica, another wonderful teacher in the Tui Room, who has been equally caring and attentive. Our daughter spent five very happy months at Kindercare. She loved her teachers and her friends in the Tui Room, and we could clearly see her confidence and development flourish during her time here. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, we need to return to Australia, but she will definitely miss everything about the Kindercare CBD and will miss everyone in the Tui Room. Thank you, Kindercare, for giving our daughter such a warm, joyful, and memorable learning experience. If you are looking for a high-quality early learning centre or a preschool in Auckland CBD, especially near Britomart, we highly recommend Kindercare Auckland CBD. It has been a truly positive and memorable experience for our family.

My daughter felt so comfortable and happy at this childcare. Out of all the centres we tried, she loved this one the most. She always looks forward to spending time here, and the teachers are truly kind, caring, and responsible. We feel very grateful to have found such a wonderful place for her.

I’m sending both my kids to Kindercare Auckland CBD and I’m glad that I found this centre. Teachers and staff members here are all very friendly and their care for children can’t be comparable. I find this centre is particularly good at communication via emails or calls, also through their platform where I can see photos of kids doing activities at the centre. They also offer extracurricular programmes like music lessons, football lessons and living eggs that kids can see the journey of living eggs before hatched and after. It does have extra cost to book extracurricular programmes but very affordable and worth it. Cleanliness is one of the big factors when I was browsing options as I had to send kids from 6 months old and Kindercare Auckland has not disappointed me once. Anyone who’s considering, I highly recommend 👍

My twin boys love going to the centre! Teachers take good care of my boys and I can feel my boys are happy, healthy, safe and loved. I can see that the teachers are very attentive, trying to focus and put effort into developing each kid's strengths in learning. I Highly recommend this centre if they are looking for a place where their child can go every week, learn, have fun, grow, and play with friends in a healthy and safe environment. The kindercare centre is an amazing day care, the teachers and the centre director are nice and lovely people. My daughter is so happy, she learn new things every day.

I visited four different daycares when I was looking for the right place for my son, and from the very beginning, I really liked Kindercare. The structure is great and all the teachers and staff are very kind, friendly, and professional. They gave me amazing support during my son’s settling-in period, and now he absolutely loves going there. On the days I pick him up early, he actually wants to stay longer, which makes me feel so confident and happy about our choice. I’m truly grateful for the care they provide. Highly recommend!!

We have been with Kindercare Customs St since our oldest was a tiny 3 months old. The care, attention and love the team have shown our little girls is overwhelming. Could no imagine better people to have trusted with pur babies

We have had our son at Kindercare Auckland CBD for the past year since he was approximately 6 months old. After trying a few different centres that didn't meet our standards, we were pleased that Kindercare Auckland CBD were able to meet these. The reasons why I would recommend Kindercare are: - whilst it's a larger centre as part of a chain, I had initially assumed that would mean my son wouldn't get the care that a smaller more bespoke centre could offer. I was incorrect and found that Kindercare offered consistency, professionalism, maintained high standards and could sometimes offer us flexibility when we needed it - and perhaps they can do this better because of their operating model. - High calibre of teachers, and very good ratios. - Very clean environment. NOTE FOR PEOPLE WITH NEWBORNS: Kindercare ensures that there is an area for newborns / early crawlers to play where people do not wear shoes which is great. I thought that this would be common sense but found many other centres don't enforce this which I found gross given my child (and other people's children) would be doing tummy time on the floor. - The teachers would greet us each day, welcome our child and take him from us gently, enabling us to do sign in and get to work. NOT ALL CENTRES DO THIS. I experienced some where you'd put your child on the mat, and no one would greet you, or they would say hi to the adult, but not address the child. Kindercare showed respect of the parents time and also ensured we felt confident knowing our child was in safe hands and his needs would be met when we left. - Kindercare are aligned with the RIE / Pikler philosophies and their equipment in the babies rooms is appropriate (and all clean, good quality, not plastic rubbish). - The outdoor area for when they start moving about it great and safe, with loads of things to do. - There is an in-centre chef catering for dietary requirements, with good quality healthy food. - Lovely staff running the administration and management. Always friendly and welcoming. My son LOVED the centre and the personal connections he developed with the teachers. As someone who has previously sent my children to the most expensive, and what I perceived as the highest quality private centres and previously avoided the chain ones due to misconceptions, I'd say that the Kindercare CBD centre exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

we were in Auckland for a while, and our kid was enrolled in the nursery at Kindercare for 5 months. It was a terrific experience, the educators and facility were amazing, the kid loved going there, and we would have continued if we hadn't left Auckland. As this was our first childcare, only in hindsight can we see how truly great our experience was with kindercare.

If you are after a daycare/preschool that cares for your child, I can only recommend Kindacare CBD. Our daughter was so well groomed for year 1, and the learnings which they teach are so good that they really make it easy for your child to transition to ‘big’ school. Our son is there now as well, and he is really enjoying himself at daycare/preschool. Kindacare and their staff are so well trained. Highly recommended!

This centre is such a gift to so many families ! We can vouch that this Kindercare Customs Street is the best family place. The team is outstanding. They are all happy, joyful, positive and committed. It is a true pleasure to walk-in the centre and be greeted by smiles, positivity and great energy. They are all exceptional people. Choosing a daycare for children is no easy task. We met the Centre Director and the whole team 5 years ago and felt very confident about the safe and caring environment. They have always exceeded our expectations while being so flexible and kind. We can compare to overseas and local daycare, and this is the best we found. We trust that our children are loved, safe, have fun and enjoy their day while being on a fantastic leaning journey with wonderful values. They bring at home what they learn and we were impressed to be taught and explained by our young child why to be patient, kind and share with others. This is such a great start in life. Knowing our children are in this centre provides us peace of mind during our day. The daily updates about the activities and menu allow us to feel present and see what they have achieved and discuss about it during our commute. The centre is conveniently located close to most CBD workplaces meaning you do not have worry that much about traffic and can therefore maximise your workday. We had to try a different daycare for our second child as it was more convenient for our commute. However, we resumed to Kindercare as we were missing so much the wonderful atmosphere and fantastic staff. We can not recommended enough this happy place.

Our kids love their time at daycare. They are always greeted when they arrive, and are very well cared for by all the staff. They have nutritious food made for them by the in-house chef. The location is great as we work in the city, and we love the daily updates and photos of the kids.

Choosing Kindercare Customs Street has been one of the best decisions. Our son has been going there since he was 8months old. He loves it there. Whole team is amazing, caring, loving and supportive. Can’t recommend enough!

Wonderful center, with fantastic support admin staff and wonderful teachers. I have utmost confidence leaving my bubba in their care. They are so supportive of working parents, and my son has the best time – coming home with new words, songs and achievements all the time. He really enjoys going to daycare, which makes it easier for me to drop him off every day. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I cannot rate Kindercare Customs Street highly enough. Both our boys have been there since they were six months old and absolutely love it. All the team are fantastic and the level of love are care for the kids is amazing.

If I could give 6 stars I would! This centre, and every one of its staff members are welcoming, kind, loving, compassionate and fun - the best combination of kaiako and teachers we could ask for when dropping off little ones, knowing they are in the best care when we aren’t around. I have had two kids go through the centre, one from babies up to the toddler room, and the other through the preschool, and Kindercare has been the best thing for our family. I can’t speak more highly of Tans, Rach, Dash, and Sonia, plus all of the room teachers. (Also, worth checking if the company you work for has a corporate discount).

So my baby has been attending this day care for over 8 months now abs he LOVES IT!! The staff is super friendly, the teachers are so nice and sweet, helpful too and they will tell you everything about their day, he actually has a notebook for his day, he doesn’t cry when we’re leaving him he is SUPER HAPPY Everytime we come in to the daycare, absolutely recommend this place

The location is perfect for parents who works in the CBD area. With the long opening hours, definitely will relieve you from having to leave early every day to pick up your children.
