Kia Ora,

We understand that as whānau, you are your child’s first teacher and that learning begins at home. At this Fairfield daycare centre, our experienced and qualified Kaiako are committed to keeping your child safe, loved and learning, while maintaining supportive relationship with you. We believe a strong partnership enables us to embrace what’s important to your whānau through the care and education we provide. Because of this, we welcome regular contributions to your child’s development, to create a meaningful connection between home life and centre life, and to foster a sense of belonging for them.

We know you will have peace of mind knowing that every day your child is with us, they are respected and nurtured in a culture of kindness at at our daycare centre.

I myself have been a part of Kindercare since 2009 as a Teacher, a parent and now a Centre Director. So I fully understand the importance of exceptional care and education.

My team and I are dedicated to providing children and their families with the best possible care and support, built on respect, aroha, and trusting relationships. We can appreciate that these early years of a child’s life are some of the more impressionable ones and we count it an honour to work with you to help your learn, grow and thrive!

So come visit us, we know you’ll love Kindercare Fairfield.

Why Choose Our Centre

Simply put, it’s because we offer outstanding early childhood care and learning. But here are a few other great reasons:

  • Our centre community is culturally diverse. We also have long-serving Kaiako with a wealth of experience, providing a home away from home.
  • Our operational hours allow us to provide flexible options to suit your family’s needs, including full-time and part-time care.
  • Kai is included. We provide high-quality plant-based whole-food meals for tamariki—all provided on-site and prepared with love by our qualified Cook.
  • We offer a generous leave policy because we understand the unpredictability of children’s absences.
  • We have a keen passion for working with diverse learners and their families through our Family Services assistance and guidance. This is unique to Kindercare.

About Our Care

At this Fairfield childcare centre, we’re big on meeting whānau aspirations and the needs of each child, with age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers throughout their day.

Our team believes that every child should have the opportunity to grow and develop to reach their full potential, regardless of their personal circumstance, culture, or where they might be in their development stage. Respect, or whakaute, underpins everything that we do at our centre, to encourage and support all tamariki in our care.

We have 4 separate spacious rooms for babies, toddlers, younger preschoolers and those who are preparing to go to primary school. Kaiako who care for our infants intentionally implement respectful care practices through our Head, Heart and Hands program. This turns everyday routined care moments into opportunities for authentic connection with your pēpi. Our toddler room offers a relaxed atmosphere where your child is encouraged to be curious, to explore, and grow their emerging self-help skills. Furthermore, our Pathways to Kura program is a proven success in setting up tamariki with all the tools they need in their kete to successfully start kura.

Since 2015, we have remained committed to work in partnership with whānau and our wider community within Fairfield, to have an inclusive and culturally diverse centre that encourages and develops children’s empathy, wonder, love, trust and creativity. We understand that families have different childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This enables us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning and fees, to support their growth.

Our team strongly believes that by prioritising the needs of each child and their whānau, we can create a sense of belonging and help families feel safe and loved, knowing that this will in turn support their ako, or learning, and given them a sense of belonging to Kindercare Fairfield.

We are conveniently located for families in Fairfield, Chedworth, Fairview Downs, Enderley, and Chartwell; and we can’t wait to show you all this in action! We look forward to welcoming you to Kindercare Fairfield.
