Safe is one of our core values. We acknowledge the seriousness of the incident at Kindercare Woolston on 5 December 2025, and the concern it has caused our centre community.

WorkSafe New Zealand has now concluded their investigation process and have informed us that no further action is required.

We appreciate the robust process undertaken by WorkSafe and have taken the opportunity to strengthen our safety systems and practice across all centres as a result. We remain dedicated to keeping each child in our care safe, loved and learning, and are grateful for the continued trust our families place in us.
