About Our Care
Childcare at our centre is designed to meet whānau aspirations and the needs of each child, with age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers throughout their day. We embrace diversity and creating an environment that serves a multicultural centre community, where your child can participate in fun-filled and challenging learning experiences that are tailored to their stage of development.
We also understand that settling into a daycare centre can be a overwhelming for you and your child, so we’re here to make it as easy as possible for your whānau. Our team will work with you to create a plan that ensures your family feels safe, loved, happy and secure in their new environment. We value strong partnerships and supportive relationships with parents—we’re all about whanaungatanga at Kindercare Kohimarama; since 1990.
To foster great relationships within our centre community, we regularly host events, such as themed days, family picnics, children’s performances, and sports afternoons to provide opportunities for you to connect with us and other parents. These events are also a great way to have fun with your child and stay informed of their learning progress.
We understand that families have different childcare needs, and we would love to discuss them with you. This enables us to provide a tailored approach to your child’s care, learning and fees, to support their growth
Life At Our Centre

Kindercare Kohimarama have been amazing for our family. I went back to work when our son was 9 months old, and it was a huge comfort to know he was in such good hands in the babies' room. The Teachers in the babies' room and now the toddlers' room have been marvellous, creating a lovely environment for our son and his friends to play and learn.

The affection he shows for his Teachers speaks volumes about the genuine relationship that exists between Teachers and children. He gets to experience a far wider array of activities than he would at home!
