Fees

Like you, we want the best for your child. So we don’t compromise on safe, supportive care and education. Our team works hard to ensure your family receives the highest standard of care for your weekly fee, which includes:

  • A generous leave allowance
  • A nutritious midday meal, prepared fresh at the centre daily – so you won’t need to pack kai.
  • A healthy mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack, to fuel your child’s play and learning
  • Our Positive Parenting program – offering tips, advice and support for every family

Because every child has different needs, we ask that you supply your child’s own bottles, formula and nappies for each day they’re in our care.

Questions?

If you would like to learn more about our fees, enrolment schedules or space availability, please let us know. We’re happy to talk through any questions or provide whatever information you may need, to help you make the best decision for your child and for your family.

What’s the first step?

We warmly welcome you and your family to pop in at any time, to visit our centre: have a chat with our friendly team, and explore our intimate, homely centre. And please bring your precious child with you because we’d love to meet your son or daughter, and introduce them to Kindercare - where every day is a new opportunity to have fun while learning and growing.

Why choose our centre?

At Kindercare Spreydon, we’ve been offering safe, loving care and learning since 2004. Here, we see your child as unique and precious. So, it is our privilege to partner with you to support their learning and development, as your little one explores our sensory-rich environments, as a baby, makes exciting discoveries ‘all by themselves’ in our Toddlers Room, and builds friendships - and resilience - through our Transition to School program. Our team are committed to ensuring your child receives the best possible care and education for their individual needs while having fun in our relaxed environments with lots of variety and invitations to play.

Our care and learning

We understand the importance of helping your child develop a love of learning during these early foundation years. That’s why at our daycare centre, we take a holistic approach to your child’s care and education  which means we look at all areas of your child’s development and wellbeing, while recognising that ‘play is a child’s work’. Our daily curriculum is all about helping your child to learn through play, while building the foundation skills they need for school and beyond.

We also embrace celebrations and rituals as ways of deepening our connection with your child. For example, singing our national anthem and enjoying a Music and Movement session together each week. Another ritual your little one will love is for birthdays, when we serve your child’s snacks and meals in a special way, just for them

With many of our families living and working locally, their tamariki often transition to the nearby primary schools, so our centre is part of the local community. Close relationships are frequently built between our centre families and their children, and most importantly, between you and our team. We partner with you from the beginning, to ensure our safe, loving care and education meets your child’s individual needs.

Kiwi Room (Babies Room)

We believe every baby should be cared for in a calm, nurturing environment, where they can explore, engage and feel cherished. That’s what you will find in our Kiwi Room, with its own expansive outdoor area - complete with established trees. As your pēpi grows and develops, they’ll be learning through discovering the many fun-filled tactile and sensory experiences, every day.

Tūī Room (Toddlers Room

We understand that toddlerhood is all about your child’s eagerness for independence, lots of energy, and readiness for new learning experiences. So we’ve intentionally created an environment that offers safe, fun and challenging invitations to play, where your little one will be encouraged to freely explore, make exciting discoveries and develop their communication and emerging social skills. Most importantly, the tamariki in this room are cherished by our loving team who recognise their individual interests and potential

Pūkeko Room (Preschoolers Room)

In our safe, nurturing Preschooler Room, your child will be encouraged to think creatively, problem solve, be curious and definitely have fun! Integrated into the program for the older children, we offer an outstanding Transition to School program that develops critical foundation skills that will prepare your child for school

Imaginative, hands-on learning, will help your child learn how to socialise and build friendships, gain the confidence to share an idea, understand how to ask for help, work in a team, and develop persistence – a skill so essential in life when working through difficulties and challenges.

Early literacy and numeracy are also intentionally woven into the curriculum throughout the day, in a fun-filled way, and at your child’s pace. And, like every age we care for, our tamariki in this room feel loved, cherished and valued.

Our world of outdoor play

Active movement is critical for every child’s growth and development – not just physically, but also their intellectual and social development. And that makes outdoor play, freedom to move and physical challenges so important in early childhood. At our childcare centre, you’ll find we have carefully created outdoor spaces to meet the needs of tamariki at each development stage. Come in and explore it, with your child…

A little about our team

Children and families matter to us, at our early childhood centre. That’s why we are committed to building supportive relationships with every child and family in our loving centre community.

Living Kindercare’s core value - love - to the fullest, our Teachers foster a devoted connection with your child through care that is genuinely attentive, responsive and nurturing, because above all else, love is essential for your child to learn and grow

We also establish a respectful, collaborative relationship with you and whānau. Working with you, as a team, is our way of learning about your child and their individual needs, so that our Kaiako can provide the best possible care and education for the tamariki.

Furthermore, our team embraces the cultural diversity of every family. We take the time to get to know you and your heritage, so that you’ll always feel a sense of belonging when you join our loving childcare centre. All of this is our way of serving children and families and whānau with love.

You’re invited…

Parents and families are warmly welcomed to pop in at any time during the day to visit our daycare centre, chat to us, and have a look around. We really want you to bring your child with you, so we can meet them and introduce them to Kindercare. As Centre Director, I have greatly enjoyed being part of the Kindercare team since 2007 - partnering with parents and treasuring children. I look forward to meeting you.

With love

Leonie
